Tips
- Social behaviour
Have a written policy on behaviour, but make it short and to the
point. This will make it easier to discipline staff when they transgress it.
You cannot expect staff to behave well to each other if managers are rude.
Antisocial behaviour from one person should not be tolerated - it's infectious.
All
admonishments
for
bad
behaviour
should
be
documented.
Let
staff
discuss
what
is
and
what
is
not
acceptable behaviour.
If there are some bullies in the department, send everyone on assertive training
- so they are all on a 'level playing field'.
